Freedom & Film: System Impacted Women Speak Up

Join us during Women’s History Month for an evening of films by women who tell their stories and advocate for system change. The Represent Justice Ambassador Film fellowship program equips formerly incarcerated leaders, activists and advocates with the creative and technical skills to produce and nationally distribute short films for systemic change. This event highlights four film shorts: The Truth Behind the Mask by JeiJei Webster; How Did I Get Here? By Nicole ‘Coco’ Davis; The Trauma We Carry by Dena Dickerson; and Whispers Beyond Bars by Marci Marie Simmons. A post-screening discussion with the filmmakers will be moderated by Karla Armour.
